![]() ![]() It's intimidating, to say the least, but I honestly believe I'm writing a book with a shadow so long I might never escape it. It was fathered by frustration (if not disgust), born from a love of Stoker's Dracula, Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire and Queen of the Damned, and (to a lesser degree) King's 'Salem's Lot, but ultimately is little more than me defining "the Vampire" for myself (and let us associate that with a screaming child). ![]() For someone who's spent a few years bitching about Vampire stories, this is going to seem hypocritical, but it's a story the nasty little ape I call a muse won't let go of.
